Levels of Rafting- Rafting has been devided into six levels according to difficulty level of the course.
Level 1:- Easy Level:-
This rafting course can be enjoyed with family. Even children can enjoy this level of rafting with their parents. This course has minimal risk as the river water flow with minimal obstructions.
Level 2- Novice Level:-
After the easy and simple course of Rafting, one can obt for the novice level where the river water has visible obstructions which can be avoided easily.
Level 3-Intermediate Level:-
Mediocre level obstructions present in the Intermediate Level rafting provides more fun and adventure to the rafter. In this level controlling the boat is an adventures task for the rafter as the waves come stronger and demand strong navigation from the rafter.
Level 4- Advanced Level:-
After these Rafting experience here comes the advanced level. This level requires higher expertise and scale. More rapids and turbulent water makes the level thrilling on the advance level. Fast moves are required to navigate the raft in this level.
Level 5- Expert Level:-
This level is for the ultimate adventure. Expert level requires self rescue moves even in the turbulent waters. In this level Rapids are usually long and unpredictable. Appropriate equipment’s and expertise is required to enjoy this level of adventure. This level also requires expert team.
Level 6- Extreme Level:-
With the maximized level of risk this level is for the daredevil of water. Here room for error is zero. This also needs expert team for rescue with high grade of equipment. The daredevil opting this level should be experienced with the different rafting courses. The rafter should also be capable to self rescue missions.

Whether it is compulsory to know Swimming for doing Rafting
If you know swimming, it is good for your as it is a personal skill which is also very good for being healthy as it is a good exercise. However, if you don’t know swimming, it will not be a hurdle for dong rafting.
Training
When you are going for rafting, you are given a short training/briefing for your safety during rafting. This training/briefing is based on which Level of rafting you are going to do. This is sufficient for your personal safety during any type of hurdle or difficulty during rafting.
Equipment

Do’s and Don’ts
When you are going for rafting you should be healthy and sound mind. Consuming alcohol or any type of substances is strictly prohibited during rafting.
You should wear the life jacket and helmet properly. You should also listen and follow the instructions given by your guide for your safety. Team work is also very much essential for rafting. You should not disobey instructions of your guide/instructor while rafting as and when he instruct to do the things, you should obey him. As he is very experienced with rafting and knows which type of hurdle is this and how to deal with it. Without the consent of the guide/ instructor jumping in water is also prohibited.
